Stepping Out
Overseen by Andrew, Sheridan Laverick led the intercessions and the whole Brigade joined together as they taught the rest of the congregation a new song (and actions!). Office, Sarah Dawkins, gave a challenging presentation in which she showed that Jesus can permanently change lives in a way New Years’ Resolutions fail to do!
Sheridan leads in prayer
With increased numbers and new officers (Sarah and Melanie Diji) to assist Linda, Sarah and Sue, the work is in ‘good heart’ and one of a number of encouraging developments in the life of the Church. The prayers and thanks of the Church and its leaders goes to all those who seek to bring the Gospel of Jesus to the young lives in the Brigade.
I thought Sheridan did very well, and Sarah too.God willing the Girls Brigade will continue to know growth.
Comment by Andrew Mumford on 12 January 2009 at 07:55 AMThe girls enjoyed the service and the chance to show off their new uniform. well done to Sheriden and Sarah for their inputinto the service. We pray that we continue to have a good number of girls next time at church parade, which will refelect the number of girls who attend every wednesday.
