Ferndale celebrated two baptisms today, that of Sheridan and of intern Sarah.

Sheridan was baptised after making a profession of faith towards the end of last year, and Sarah had never been baptised as a believer. Sarah was baptised first by Senior and Associate Pastors, Stephen and Andrew. Echoing the early Baptisms in the Baptist Church, Sarah then baptised Sheridan with Stephen. Former intern, Gareth Leaney came back especially and said that he was delighted to witness such a joyous day. Friend of the church, Ebek McCauley said that it was great see Sheridan and Sarah so happy and to hear about how God has changed their lives.

The church family then continued the celebrations with a church family lunch, although the lack of Gareth’s trifle was noted!

Well done Sherry and Sarah! It was great to hear how God has transformed your lives. I really loved the strawberry cheesecake afterwards too!
