Encouragements at the Turn of the Year

A New Year's Eve Party and a Covenant Service on the first Sunday of 2009 followed Ferndale's Christmas celebrations.
The party, well-attended by younger members of the congregation, commenced with a brief act of thanksgiving in which the congregation reflected upon many of the encouragements of 2009. At the Covenant Service, nine new members and five associates were added to the Church and Jon Delves preached a challenging ‘keynote’ address centred on Ephesisans 2:22, emphasising the need to place Jesus at the centre of our community life and growth.
Teehee - I was sitting on a tiny chair, and it makes me look like a giant!

I was thinking similar about me . . .and the fact that my hair appears to have many stripes . . .
