Church and Politics
Posted on 20 April 2008
Stephen, Bonnet and Emmanuel were delighted to be able to join together today with other local church leaders to meet, at his request, local MP, James Duddridge.
The outcome was that all agreed to meet regularly in the future and to mainitain a regular channel of contact between the churches and James and vice-versa.
James shared some of the reasons with the group as to why he was in politics and was candid in his replies to specific issues that were raised. The meeting concluded with prayer for him and a commitment by the leaders to ongoing intercession for both him, his fasmily and work.
