Celebrating New Life

A congregation of about 80 met at Ferndale today to celebrate Harvest and the greater thrill of witnessing Sarah Chaplin's baptism.

Friends, family and the Ferndale family (including a whistle-stop visit from Gareth!) joined together to hear Sarah bear testimony to her new-found faith in Jesus as her Lord and Saviour and to witness her baptism. Sarah’s own clear statement of her faith was accompanied by Stephen giving a clear explanation of the meaning and challenge of Baptism. A shared bring-and-share lunch brought the celebrations to a fitting close.
