A Busy Office

Posted on 12 November 2008
The Church Offices have been especially busy the last two weeks with Elaine Taylor joining the 'Team'.

Elaine has been doing voluntary work alongside Jon, Sarah and Stephen. As well as minute-taking, shadowing other members of the team and visiting the housebound, Elaine has been working on recording the Church archives… some of which have proved highly amusing… like the dog that didn’t realise it should not make a noise outside the church on Sundays!

Its good to see that someone sensible is keeping an eye on the rest of you!
Well done Elaine!

Our cat doesn’t realise that it shouldn’t wake us up early on Sunday mornings. Perhaps Elaine could draft a letter to her, explaining the significance of the Lord’s Day….

Now that is an idea. Do you think she could explain the significance of Saturdays too? I have three cats that think I am going to be late for work on both a Saturday and Sunday!

I love how cosy the office now looks - but is the picture really three years old?

My desk! I left it looking all neat and tidy (no really I did!) and now Elaine has stolen it!! I’m going to have to come back South and claim it back off her!!!!!

But - good job Elaine smile (and im only joking about the desk!)

It has been great having you around… and we have really enjoyed some of the skeletons you have found in the cupboard!
